The university is a dynamic, rapidly evolving, single-site university. At the heart of the campus is a student centre, featuring a Social Learning Zone where students can work in groups online and in networks; the Zone also converts to a space for Student Union events.
Bolton is situated in the North West of England, close to both Manchester and Liverpool. Its location makes it easy to visit many areas of England, Scootland and Wales with easy access at Manchester International Airport. It is one of the largst towns in the UK with a vibrant and gowing cultural scene with art galleries, an award-winning theatre and live music venues. It is just 15 minutes from Manchester, one of the UK's most liveliest cities. There are two hallls of rsidence, which are convenient for the University and the town centre.

For those applicants whose current academic qualificitions are not suitable for entry, the university offers a range of foundation programmes, which, after successful completion, enables you to take up a place on your chosen course.
A new University of Bolton campus has been opened by the university at Ras al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Built Environment, Engineering, Business, Computing/Information Technology and Art and Design. The University also offers a number of in-country programmes delivered in several countries.
