University of Nicosia
The University of Nicosia is an independent, co-educational, equal opportunity institution of higher education, which offers a wide range of programs to students from around the world.
Located on the historic island of Cyprus, the university offers undergraduate studies in business, science, education and the liberal arts, as well as professional programs. Postgraduate programs are also offered in psychology, sociology, international relations, education, special education and business.
University of Nicosia, at the cross-roads of three continents, is quickly becoming a global education centre. International in philosophy, the university hosts students from all over the world, in a multicultural learning environment, promoting friendship, cooperation and understanding.

Other examples of community service include campaigns for fighting world hunger and raising funds for worthy causes. In the prison project, professors teach Computing, Art and Psychology to inmates.
Public opinion has recognized the comprehensive contribution the university is making. Indeed, a local survey has found the University of Nicosia to be "the most reputable university in Cyprus".

The university was founded in 1980 and offers undergraduate programs, leading to Diplomas or Bachelor Degrees and graduate programs, leading to Master degrees. The university's programmes are accredited by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and has recently receives its official university charter.
