University of Dundee

Founded in 1881, Dundee is a traditional university with a long history and an exciting future. It has a world class reputation in areas ranging from life sciences to design. There are over 18,000 students of whom 15% are international, contributing to our cosmopolitan outlook.

The majority of students live on or near the city-centre campus and have easy access to some of Scotland's most spectacular countryside. Up-to-date teaching facilities, library, accommodation, sports and social facilities are all on campus, this helps to create the University's sense of community and a relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The city of Dundee is only 1 hour by train from Scotland's major cities and airports, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Students graduating from Dundee can now stay and work in Scotland for 2 years under the Fresh Talent Initiative.
