Wigan & Leigh College is based at 4 main sites in the 2 towns and there are currently over 23,000 students. We are proud to boast an excellent range of services and facilities aimed at making your time at College as easy, enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
Wigan and Leigh College is one of the largest colleges of its type in the UK, and as it is publicly funded it is subject to regular financial and quality audit by the UK government.
All of our students must be over 16, and there are academic and vocational courses in many different fields. We offer qualifications that are recognised worldwide. The programmes of study are:

When you arrive in the UK you will be picked up from the airport. You will have the opportunity to be introduced to the International Team, who will help you in finding suitable accommodation in which you will be happy. You will also receive help with welfare issues - registering with the police, doctor and visa information.
Wigan and Leigh are both close to Liverpool and Manchester, with easy access to the International Airports, not to mention the low living costs in comparison to the rest of the country.
