Visas
What can GEC do for you and your application for a visa?
GEC has a wealth of experience when it comes to helping students secure their visas to study in the United Kingdom. Our experienced visa counsellors can help you from the very beginning by ensuring that your paper work is in accordance with the specific requirements of whichever country you are applying to.
Once you have decided on your chosen University, made all the necessary payments, received all the necessary documents from the university, we will be glad to help you through the final hurdle and make sure that the start of your new future is smooth and easy.
Getting a visa can be complex. Typically you will need the following:
- To pay at least 50% of the first year's tuition fee (this may vary dependant on your country)
- An Unconditional Offer Letter from your chosen university
- Current bank statements with the appropriate funds
- Sponsorship letters
- Accommodation documentation
However, this does not guarantee your visa, as you will be required to fill out application forms and questionnaires which the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) will go through and look to be 'convinced' that you are indeed a genuine student.
GEC visa counselling staff have the expertise and know-how to make sure that you are well prepared, that your application form, questionnaire and supporting documentation is presented to the British High Commission or Embassy in a way that is transparent, clear and convincing.
